DHAKA, May 5, 2025 (BSS) –The fire that broke out at the basement of the ten-story building of the Capital Siraj Center on Bailey Road in the capital around 6:45 pm today was brought under control.

Nine fire fighting units of the fire service managed to dauged the flame at 8:38pm tonight, according to the fire service media cell sources.

The fire service sources added that a total of 18 people were rescued from the building.

Of them, seven were men, nine women and two children.

No casualties have been reported so far.
