Govt reduces prices of diesel, petrol, octane

DHAKA, May 31, 2025 (BSS) - The government has reduced prices of diesel, petrol and octane
in the local markets to be effective from June 1, 2025, according to a gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources here.

The notification said diesel price has been fixed at Taka 102 per litter while octane at Taka 122 and petrol at Taka 118.

The price of kerosene has been fixed at Taka 114 per litre, it added.

The prices of the fuels have been refixed keeping consistency with the international markets.
