Consensus Commission’s 2nd round talks with political parties begins tomorrow

DHAKA, June 1, 2025 (BSS) - Second round of dialogue of the National Consensus Commission with the political parties will begin tomorrow. 
 
The dialogue will begin at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital at 4:30 pm.
 
Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus will inaugurate the dialogue, Chief Advisor's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder told in a press briefing at Foreign Service Academy here.
 
He said all the political parties and stakeholders involved in the reform process have been invited to join the dialogue. 
 
Azad said it is expected that the July Charter could be finalised through this dialogue.

Apart from tomorrow’s meeting, two more rounds of talks will be held before and after Eid-ul-Azha, he said.
 
Chief Advisor's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam and Senior Assistant Press Secretary Foyez Ahammad were also present at the press briefing.
