Dhaka, March 29, 2025 - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man named Zafar Iqbal today for making fake documents using a forged seal and signature of the home adviser.

On information, the elite force arrested Zafar Iqbal after raiding the Khilkhet area in the city.

The man amassed a lot of money by forging the home adviser's signature and seal, as well as those of other important people, said a RAB statement today.

He used these fake documents to offer jobs, promotions, and transfers to officials.

During the raid, RAB recovered fake seals, business cards, and documents with signatures of the home adviser and other officials from his possession.

The forger also created fake permits using the home ministry's logo for illegal cross-border cattle trading.

Legal action is underway against him.
