Five Eid jamaats held at Baitul Mukarram

DHAKA, Mar 31, 2025 (BSS) - On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, five Eid jamaats were held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque today.

The first jamaat was held at 7am, followed by the second one at 8 am, the third one at 9 and the fourth one at 10am. The final jamaat was held at 10:45 am.

A large number of devotees from different parts of the city joined the Eid-ul-Fitr namaj at Baitul Mokarram National Mosque.

Special prayers were offered in every namaj seeking the blessings of the almighty for peace and prosperity of the nation.  

Official sources said, the first jamaat at the national mosque was led by its Pesh Imam Hafez Mufti Maulana Muhibbullahil Baki. The second jamaat was led by Senior Pesh Imam Hafez Mufti Maulana Mizanur Rahman.

The third jamaat was conducted by Islamic Foundation Muhaddis Dr Maulana Mufti Waliur Rahman Khan, and the fourth jamaat was led by Dr Mushtaq Ahmed, a senior member of the Islamic Foundation.

The fifth and final congregation was led by Islamic Foundation Mufti Md Abdullah.
