DHAKA, April 01, 2025 (BSS)- Rain with thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.

“There may be temporary gusty winds with a speed of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour from the west or northwest over Mymensingh and Sylhet regions,” Met office said.

River ports in the divisions have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
The Met office also said trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
 
It said weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Nilphamari, Jashore, Dhaka, Faridpur and Rangamati and it may continue.

Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged.

Met office recorded maximum temperature of today at 37.0 degree Celsius at Jashore under Khulna Division whiles minimum 16.0 degree Celsius at Dimla under Rangpur Division.
