Mild heat wave sweeps over some districts

DHAKA, April 02, 2025 (BSS) - Mild heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi division and Dinajpur, Sayedpur and Chuadanga districts.

Met office said, the day and night temperature may fall slightly over northern region of the country and may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.

Trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area as seasonal low lies over the South Bay, it said.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country with possibility of rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes.

Temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over northeastern part of the country.

Yesterday’s maximum temperature was recorded 38.0 degree Celsius at Rajshahi in Rajshahi Division while the minimum temperature was 16.0 degree Celsius at Dimla in Rangpur Division, Met office said.

Today’s sunset at Dhaka would be at 06:15 pm while the Sun will rise tomorrow 05:49 am.
