Rebuilding emergency dept at every hospital recommended

DHAKA, May 5, 2025 (BSS) - Health Reforms Commission has recommended 
redesigning and rebuilding the emergency departments equipped with modern 
facilities at every hospital to facilitate easy, urgent and efficient service 
delivery.

The commission made the recommendations in its report submitted by its 
Chairman Professor AK Azad Khan to Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus at the 
State Guest House "Jamuna" today.
 
The report suggested establishing a one-stop crisis center with five beds in 
every hospital for ensuring services to women victims of violence.
