DHAKA, May 20, 2025 (BSS) –The Ministry of Labor and Employment has announced a series of decisive measures to address the unpaid salaries and service benefits owed to the workers of TNZ Group.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, the Ministry outlined the following steps:

The TNZ Group’s washing plant and the owner’s residence in DOHS, Mohakhali will be sold within the next seven working days. The proceeds from these sales will be used to clear outstanding wages and other dues of the factory workers.

Since the consensus has been made among all stakeholders regarding the payment process, labor leaders should agree to withdraw the blockade at the Labor Building.

As the owner of TNZ Group is currently residing abroad, a red alert has been issued through Interpol to facilitate his return to Bangladesh and ensure accountability.

All individuals involved in management of TNZ including the directors have been given travel ban to prevent them from leaving the country.

The Director of Finance at TNZ Group will remain in government custody until all dues owed to the workers are fully paid.
