FARIDPUR, Nov 10, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested Md. Faruk Hossain, acting president of the Faridpur district unit of Awami League.

He was detained this evening in front of Jhilatuli Diabetic Hospital in 
Faridpur town, confirmed Additional Superintendent of Police Shamsul Azam.

Faruk Hossain, previously vice-president of the Faridpur district Awami 
League, was recently appointed acting president, as announced on the party's 
official website and social media.
