DHAKA, June 1, 2025 (BSS) - The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs today requested all to remain alert over enticements, offers and fraud regarding the posting and transfer of district registrars and sub-registrars under Directorate of Registration.

A press release, signed by ministry spokesperson Dr Md Rezaul Karim, said the posting and transfer of district registrars and sub-registrars under Directorate of Registration is a regular activity of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

"In the transfer process, the applications of the District Registrars and Sub-Registrars, length of their service, posting of their spouses, medical and other humanitarian needs are taken into consideration. There is no scope for any financial transactions in the transfer process," the release added.

The ministry urged all to remain alert over enticements, offers and fraud regarding these and advised to lodge complaint with concerned police station.
