19 students to participate in internship programmme in Pakistan

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 25, 2025 (BSS) – Nineteen students from Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) will be undertaking internships at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in Lahore, Pakistan.  
 
 Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed for education and research exchange,  19 students, including nine females from the 25th batch of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, will be participating in the internship programmme.

 A programme was organized in the conference room of the CVASU administrative building on Saturday morning to prepare the DVM students for their internship in Pakistan.
 
The programme was organized by the Director (External Activities) Office. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Lutfur Rahman, speaking as the chief guest, encouraged students to work with dedication and discipline to enhance their knowledge and skills at the international stage.   

He emphasized the importance of upholding the dignity of CVASU and expressed the university's commitment to providing more opportunities for international training and experience. 

The CVASU authorities announced that students will complete their internship at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in Lahore, Pakistan, from November 1 to December 15.
 
CVASU students will have the chance to gain practical experience in different clinical departments at the city campus of UVAS. The training program will be overseen by Professor Dr. Anila Jamir Durrani, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science at UVAS.
 
The function was presided over by Director (External Activities) Professor Dr. A. K. M Saifuddin, with the attendance of Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Gautam Kumar Debnath, and Director (Research and Extension) Professor Dr. Abdul Ahad, among others.
