BOGURA, Oct 27, 2025 (BSS) - Bogura Science and Technology University is expected to begin its academic journey from the current 2025-2026 academic sessions.

BSTU Vice-Chancellor Professor Kudrat-E-Jahan came up with the development this afternoon. 

Professor Kudrat-E-Jahan said the BSTU authorities have sought University Grants Commission (UGC) approval to enroll students in two subjects in the current academic year, adding, "We hope to receive the approval soon." 

The BSTU will begin academic activities as the country's 55th public university, nearly two decades after its approval. Administrative activities have already started at the university's temporary campus at Bogura suburb.
