71,760 applications submitted for HSC result re-examination in Dinajpur board

DINAJPUR, Oct 28, 2025 (BSS) – A total of 71,760 applications have been submitted by HSC candidates under the Dinajpur Education Board for re-examination of their results.

Of these applications, most of applications have been submitted for failure in English. 

“The date line for submitting HSC result re-examining application has been fixed from October 17 to October 23”, said Professor Md Touhidul Islam, chairman of the Dinajpur Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.

During this time, nearly 22,144 students have applied for re-examining 71,760 answer sheets.

The re-examination process of the answer sheets will begin soon, said the Dinajpur Secondary and Higher secondary Education Board Chairman.

In the current year, 105,891 candidates had been participated in the HSC under the Dinajpur Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.

The rate of HSC pass under the Dinajpur board was 57.49 percent which was lowest rate in the last couple of years.
