DHAKA, Oct 29, 2025 (BSS) – A two-day workshop titled “Television Production and Programmme Management” organized by the Department of Music, University of Dhaka, began today at the R C Majumdar Arts Auditorium here.

Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) of Dhaka University, Professor Dr. Sayema Haque Bidisha, who is currently discharging the routine duties of the Vice-Chancellor, inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest, a press release said.

Dr. Priyanka Gope, Chairman of the Department of Music, presided over the inaugural session.

During the two-day workshop, a total of eight theoretical and practical sessions will be held. 

The sessions will be conducted by Ejaz Uddin Ahmed, Head of Programmes, Deepto TV; Dr. Islam Shafiq, researcher and media personality; Nahid Masud, sound designer; Syed Sabab Ali Arju, music director; Ziaul Hasan Piyal, sound engineer; Jacob Sani D’Rozario, cinematographer and Arko Suman, music producer.
