DHAKA, Oct 30, 2025 (BSS) - The National University (NU) authorities have taken preliminary decision to reduce examination fees considering the inconvenience to the students.

A formal announcement in this regard will be made by November 15 after a meeting with college principals and university policymakers, said a press release today.

The decision was taken at an emergency meeting held yesterday in the presence of the NU Vice-Chancellor, along with the registrar, controller of examinations, proctor and heads of different departments, as well as student representatives.

As many students have already registered online for the ongoing examinations, the revised fee structure will come into effect from the upcoming Honors Part-4, Pass Course Part-2 and other subsequent examinations, the release added.
