CUMILLA, March 23, 2026 (BSS) – Food, Fisheries and Livestock, and Agriculture Minister Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid today said that everyone must remain united and set aside differences to tackle the challenges ahead.

“We face various challenges, so our unity is our only strength to overcome the obstacles,” he said.

The minister made the remarks while addressing an Eid reunion as the chief guest at the BNP party office in Dharmasagarpar of the city this evening.

He urged leaders and activists at all levels—from grassroots to the centre—to work together towards a common goal.

“We must further consolidate our position in the struggle to realise the people’s rights,” he added.

Newly appointed administrator of Cumilla City Corporation and city BNP General Secretary Yousuf Molla Tipu spoke at the function as a special guest.

Among others, Adarsha Sadar Upazila BNP President Rezaul Quiyum, General Secretary Shafiul Alam Raihan, city BNP leader Nizam Uddin Kaiser, and other party leaders were present.
