RAB arrests 13 members of broker syndicate at Narsingdi

NARSHINGDI, March 23, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-11) arrested 13 individuals involved in a broker syndicate during a drive at Narsingdi Sadar Hospital.

The operation was conducted on Monday (March 23) noon, confirmed Camp Commander and Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Ariful Islam.

According to RAB-11, they regularly conduct drives to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services for patients in government hospitals and to curb the activities of illegal brokers. As part of this ongoing effort, a joint team of RAB and police, led by Executive Magistrate Masud Rana, carried out the drive at the district Sadar hospital based on information.

During the drive, 13 identified brokers were detained. Later, they were awarded fines and various terms of imprisonment.
