5 Bangladeshis killed in Qatar road accident

DHAKA, June 21, 2026 (BSS) – Five Bangladeshi nationals were killed in a road accident in Qatar's Al Shahaniya area this morning, (local time) according to the Bangladesh Embassy in Doha.

The Bangladesh mission said that the victims were employed at a local goat farm in Qatar.

The deceased Bangladeshis were identified as Jasim Uddin, Jibal Uddin, Mostak Ahmed, Zubayer Ahmed and Kader Ahmed, all hail from Gachhbari village under Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet district, it added. 

The Bangladesh Embassy in Qatar is maintaining close contact with the relevant authorities and collecting detailed information regarding the incident.

Necessary steps are being taken to assist the victims' families and facilitate further procedures, said the mission.
