DHAKA, Mar 20, 2026 (BSS) - Following the directive of the Prime Minister, State Minister for Railways Habibur Rashid inspected the Cox’s Bazar Express at Kamalapur Railway Station at 11 pm last night.

He boarded the train from Kamalapur and continued his journey to Chattogram. During the inspection, he talked with the  passengers to assess and discuss ways to improve the quality of rail services.

The state minister expressed his firm commitment to further enhance the quality of railway services in the coming days. He also conveyed the government’s Eid greetings to the passengers. The passengers also expressed their satisfaction with the public welfare initiatives undertaken by the incumbent government.
 
Among others, General Manager of Bangladesh Railway (Eastern Zone), along with the officials and staff from the Road Transport and Highways Division,  accompanied  the state minister.
