Manikganj, March, 20, 2026 (BSS) - The home bound Eid passengers are passing a hassle free ferry movement at Paturia -Daulatdia river route without any irregulaties this year as well government had taken adequate measure.

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia Ghat sources said there was no any rush of vehicles and passengers at the ghat from the beginning of the Friday.

BIWTC Paturia Ghat Deputy General Manager (DGM) Abdus Salam said a total of 15,304 different types of vehicles crossed the Padma river during the last three days from Tuesday to Thursday through Paturia -Daulatdia river route, adding that about fifty percent of the vehicles were motorcycles. From Friday morning the Paturia - Daulatdia river route, the key point of 21 North - South district of the country observes a easy movement of the vehicle and passengers.
