Kader Gani urges engineers to play key roles in building sustainable Bangladesh

DHAKA, May 7, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Sammilita Peshajibi Parishad (BSPP) Member Secretary Kader Gani Chowdhury today urged engineers to play key roles in building a sustainable and humane Bangladesh.
 
"In this era of globalization, the development of the country is not possible without the development of technology and engineering knowledge. Engineers must play a key role in the idea of building a sustainable and humane Bangladesh," he said.
 
He made the call at a discussion held at IEB auditorium in Chattogram district marking the 77th founding anniversary of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), Chattogram Center.
 
Chattogram City Corporation Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain, Engineer Nurul Karim, Professor Mozammel Haque, Engineer Rafiqul Islam, Engineer Sakhawat Hossain, Engineer Jane Alam Selim and journalist Shah Nawaz were present, among others, on the occasion with Engineer Manjeri Khurshed Alam in the chair.
