DMP files 2,322 cases for violating traffic rules

DHAKA, May 08, 2025 (BSS)  – Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed a total of 2,322 cases on Wednesday across the capital for violating traffic rules.

The DMP’s Traffic Division has filed those cases and realized fines on Wednesday by conducting drive against traffic rules violators, said a DMP press release issued here today.

During the drive, a total of 289 vehicles were seized and 101 others towed, the release said adding that the drive will continue to bring discipline on the city’s roads.
