DHAKA, May 8, 2025 (BSS) - BNP is going to launch a special event tomorrow engaging youths as part of disseminating its 31-point outline to the people across the country.
Seminars and rallies will be held under the joint arrangement of Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal.
The event will begin with programmes in Chattogram tomorrow. Next programme will be held in Khulna on May 16, Bogura on May 23 and Dhaka on May 27.
The front organizations disclosed the information in a press conference at the party’s Chattogram office at Nasimon Bhaban this afternoon.
Juba Dal President Abdul Monayem read out a written statement at the press conference.
Swechchhasebak Dal President SM Jilani, Jubo Dal General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam, Swechchhasebak Dal General Secretary Rajib Ahsan, Senior Vice President Yasin Ali, Chhatra Dal General Secretary Nasir Uddin and Senior Joint General Secretary Shyamal Malum were present.
Among the programme, first seminar titled 'Youth's Thoughts on Employment and Multidimensional Industrialization' will be held at a community center on Chateshwari Road in the port city at 3 pm tomorrow.
BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury will be the chief guest. In addition, teachers from various universities will be present.
The next day, Saturday, a rally to 'Establish Youth's Political Rights' will be held at Chattogram city's polo ground.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be the chief guest.
In the second phase of this series of programmes, a seminar titled 'Youth's Thoughts on Education, Health and Fundamental Rights' will be held in Khulna on May 16. A rally will be held on May 17.
In the third phase, discussions and gatherings will be organized in Bogura on May 23 and 24 with the participation of representatives from Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions.
The final phase will be held in the capital Dhaka on May 27 and 28.
Youth representatives from Dhaka, Faridpur, Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions will participate here.
According to BNP sources, young representatives from different classes and professions, students, researchers, thinkers, entrepreneurs and activists will participate in the seminars, rising above party identity.
The ideas and proposals emerging from the discussions will be compiled and reflected in the future policy outline.
Various issues including employment, education, health, agriculture, environment, technology and political rights are given importance in each event of the programmes.
