DNCC adjusts mosquito control schedule due to heat wave

Dhaka, May 10, 2025 (BSS) - The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has revised working hours for its mosquito control teams in response to a heat wave alert issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

From May 11 to 13, the morning shift will end at 10:45am, one hour earlier than usual, to safeguard workers from the expected extreme temperatures.

A new summer schedule will be introduced starting May 14.
