DHAKA, May 27, 2025 (BSS) – BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman’s wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman today  visited Surovi, a voluntary development organization working for underprivileged children.

The children of Surovi burst into unbridled joy when Zubaida’s car reached the organization’s compound this afternoon.

Zubaida Rahman's mother Syeda Iqbal Mand Banu founded 'Surovi' in 1979 with the aim of bringing the light of education to the underprivileged children.

According to the BNP, in the last 46 years, about two million children received the opportunity to become literate through this organization.

Earlier, Zubaida visited the organization on May 6 after returning from London.
