DMP delegation visits injured of July uprising at Suhrawardy hospital

DHAKA, May 27, 2025 (BSS) - A delegation on behalf of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali today visited Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital to inquire about the treatment of those injured in the anti-discrimination student-public movement.

The delegation paid the visit around 11:00 am today, said a DMP press release.

At that time, they inquired about the treatment of Md. Maruf Hossain, Md. Amir Hamza Shimul, Abu Taher and Sagar Dey, who were undergoing treatment in cabins 402 and 403 of the hospital. 

The delegation reiterated that DMP will stand by the injured in the July uprising in their any need.

On behalf of the DMP Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner (Tejgaon division) Md. Ibne Mizan presented fruits and flowers as gifts to the injured July fighters.

At that time, some doctors in charge of treating the injured, including the hospital director, were present
