DHAKA, Feb 11, 2026 (BSS) -Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 13 people in the capital in the last 24 hours under 'Operation Devil Hunt' Phase-2, a DMP press release said today.

Cantonment, Tejgaon, Pallabi, Banshal, Jatrabari, Shahjahanpur, Uttara West and Hatirjheel police stations conducted separate drives in different crime-prone areas of their respective jurisdictions on Tuesday (Feb 10).

Of the arrestees, one was held from Cantonment Police Station area, two from Tejgaon, three from Pallabi, one from Banshal, three from Jatrabari, one from Shahjahanpur, one from Uttara West and one from Hatirjheel.

Cantonment police arrested Tanjir Hasan, 22 while Tejgaon police arrested Sohel, 30 and Saika Majed, 65.

Pallabi police arrested Kazi Rifat Ahmed, 36, Sohel, 25 and Md Khokon, 20 and Banshal police arrested Md Abdul Hannan, 35.

Jatrabari police arrested Imran, 32, Liton, 35 and Russell, 39.

Shahjahanpur police arrested Md Arif Hossain Sujan, 30, while Uttara West police arrested Md Rupkulla, 26 while Hatirjheel police arrested Julhas Munshi, 36.

The arrested persons were sent to the concerned court, the release added.
