Three deputy secretaries appointed as assistant seasonal Hajj officers

DHAKA, April 6, 2026 (BSS) - The government has appointed three deputy 
secretaries of the Ministry of Religious Affairs as assistant seasonal Hajj 
officers.

The appointed officials will serve for the next three months at the 
Bangladesh Hajj Offices located in Jeddah, Makkah, and Madinah in Saudi 
Arabia.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification today confirming 
the appointments on deputation.

Md. Ruhul Amin, Deputy Secretary (Grants and Audit Wing) of the Ministry of 
Religious Affairs, has been assigned to Jeddah; Md. Rafiqul Islam to Madinah; 
and Mohammad Shafiuzzaman to the Bangladesh Hajj Office in Makkah.
