Turkish envoy meets PM's defence adviser

DHAKA, April 6, 2026 (BSS) - Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Ramis Sen today paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister's Defence Adviser Brigadier General (retd) Dr AKM Shamsul Islam at his office.

"Turkish Ambassador paid a courtesy call on the PM's Defence Adviser at the Armed Forces Division in Dhaka Cantonment today," said a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues of mutual interest and expressed hope to further strengthen bilateral military relations and strategic ties between the two countries, the release added.
