Amra BNP Paribar sponsors constructing new house for martyred Harun

DHAKA, April 13, 2026 (BSS) - Construction of a new house for the family of martyred Jubo Dal leader Md Harunur Rashid in Feni has begun as a gift from Amra BNP Paribar chief patron Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

A delegation led by adviser of Amra BNP Paribar Abul Kashem in the presence of the organization's Member Secretary Moksedul Momin Mithun, formally inaugurated the construction work on Sunday at Farhad Nagar union under Sadar upazila, according to BNP Media Cell's Facebook page.
They also conveyed a message of sympathy on behalf of BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to the bereaved family.

The assistance was provided at the directive of Tarique Rahman and the planning of his Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.


Amra BNP Paribar members Masud Rana Liton, Shakil Ahmed, Farhad Ali Sajib; Joint General Secretary of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal central committee Hasnain Nahian Sajib; Sweden BNP leader Saiham Sikandar Pappu; and Dhaka College Chhatra Dal leader Abdullah Al Misbah were present at the inauguration event.

Among others Feni District BNP Convener Sheikh Farid Bahar; Member Secretary Alauddin Alal; Sadar Upazila BNP Convener Fazlur Rahman Bakul; Member Secretary Aman Uddin Qaiser Sabbir; BNP member Belayet Hossain Bacchu; Municipal BNP Member Secretary Mejbah Uddin Bhuiyan; District Jubo Dal Member Secretary Naimullah Chowdhury Barat; Senior Joint Convener VP Belal; Joint Convener Amjad Hossain Sumon; Sadar Jubo Dal Member Secretary Shahadat Hossain; District Swechchhasebak Dal Senior Joint Secretary Delwar Hossain Dolon; and members of district Jubo Dal convening committee Geyas Uddin and Ahsan Uddin Sumon were also present.

Jubo Dal leader Harunur Rashid was killed in police firing on December 4, 2013, during a peaceful procession in support of a hartal in Feni town.
In 2017, the marriage expenses of his elder daughter were also borne by Tarique Rahman.
