DHAKA, April 19, 2026 (BSS) – Around 178,919 litres of fuel oil have been recovered through mobile court drives conducted across the country to prevent illegal stockpiling and ensure a normal supply.

“A total of 289 mobile courts were conducted nationwide in the last two days. During the drive, authorities filed 97 cases,” said a press release issued this evening.

It said fines amounting to Tk 476,500 were realised through the mobile court operations.

The Energy and Mineral Resources Division said such drives would continue to ensure an uninterrupted supply of fuel oil and prevent irregularities.
