DSCC removes 19,641 tonnes of sacrificial animal waste

DHAKA, May 29, 2026 (BSS) - The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) disposed of a total of 19,641 tonnes of sacrificial animal waste at the Matuail landfill site as of 6 pm today.

A total of 4,827 tonnes of waste were dumped at the Matuail landfill from 12am to 6pm alone, said a press release.
