BAGERHAT, May 29, 2026 (BSS) - A meeting of the Bagerhat Heart Foundation’s existing committee members was held today to map out a revitalized path forward for the organization. 

The session took place at 11:00am at the Latif Master Foundation office on VIP Road.

Chaired by former secretary Dr. Md. Faridul Islam Bablu, the meeting was addressed by several prominent medical professionals and community members. Speakers included renowned physician Professor Dr. Sheikh Abu Zafar, retired Army Major Moniruzzaman, gynecology consultant Dr. Shahriar Shamim, pediatrician Dr. Syed Imtiaz Ahmed, Dr. Sohag Sheikh, Dr. Sharifa-Tuz Jahan and Hussainur Rahman Taj.

The speakers stressed the need to build on the foundation's existing structure with renewed enthusiasm. They urged all members to work collaboratively to boost public awareness about cardiovascular health and ensure accessible medical services for the general public.
