Three more die of measles-like symptoms

DHAKA, July 10, 2026 (BSS) - Three more patients died from measles-like symptoms across the country in the last 24 hours, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

During the same period, 901 new suspected measles cases were reported nationwide, while 128 confirmed patients were admitted to hospitals, a DGHS press release said today.

The release added that a total of 92,831 suspected measles patients have so far been admitted to hospitals since March 15. Of them, 89,234 have recovered and been discharged after receiving treatment.

No death from confirmed measles was reported during the past 24 hours.

Since March 15, a total of 750 people have died from measles and measles-like symptoms across the country, including 657 suspected and 93 confirmed measles deaths.
