BOA condoles death of cycling trainer Walid Hossain

DHAKA, Jan 27, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) today 
expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former famed player and 
national cycling trainer Md Walid Hossain.

Walid Hossain died of a cardiac arrest around 11 am today (Monday) at Dohar 
thana in the capital at the age of 67, said a press release.

In a message, President of BOA and Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman 
and its Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza, officials and employees expressed 
deep shock and sorrow at the death of Walid and conveyed deep sympathy to his 
bereaved family.
