BAF SEMC’s inter-house annual sports competition held

DHAKA, Jan 27, 2025 (BSS) – The two-day Inter-House Annual Sports Competition (2024-2025) of BAF Shaheen English Medium College (SEMC) was held on January 26-27 at the colleges sports ground.

On the today’s closing ceremony, Air Vice-Marshal Mohammed M Khair Ul Afsar, the Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar and chairman of the SEMC governing body, was present as the chief guest.

A release of the Directorate of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said this evening.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest congratulated the winners of different athletic events and distributed prizes amongst them.

Mercury House emerged as the champion with 10 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals, while Venus House finished as the runner-up with 9 gold, 8 silver and 11 bronze medals, the ISPR added.

Nafiur Rahman Shopno from Mercury House was named the best athlete of the year, winning 2 gold and 1 bronze medals.
The ceremony was attended by senior BAF officers, teachers, parents, and students.
