Dhaka Wanderers notch second win in BPL

DHAKA, May 2, 2025 (BSS)- Dhaka Wanderers Club registered their second win in 
the ongoing Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League football defeating 
Fortis Football Club by 1-0 goal held at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur 
today (Friday).

In the day's match, substitute midfielder Abu Sufian scored the all-important 
goal for Wanderers in the 90+6th minute of the match.

Dhaka Wanderers Club, who are struggling to skip relegation in the league, 
have seven points from 13 matches while Fortis, standing seventh position in 
the league table, remained at their previous collection of 18 points playing 
the same number of matches.  

Earlier, in the first leg, Fortis Football Club shared point with Dhaka 
Wanderers Club when their match ended in a 1-1 draw held at Bashundhara Kings 
arena in the capital.
