DHAKA, July 16, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh U-20 national women's football team assistant coach Mahbubur Rahman Litu said his girls are prepared for the return match against Bhutan.

"The condition of the team is good ... There were some minor injuries which the girls overcame. They are also in a good mood as well. The girls went through a full recovery session which included stretching and swimming and prepared for the next match against Bhutan," said Litu through an audio message here today (Wednesday).

Team captain Afeida Khandakar said the rain-hit last match against Bhutan was tough for them because the first half of the match was held at one field and the second half was held in another field.

"We had a good recovery session which included stretching and swimming. We'll sit with our head coach to discuss the mistakes of our last match and the coach will also give us some guidelines for the next match... We are upbeat to play better in the next match," said the Bangladesh eve captain.

Bangladesh will take on Bhutan in their return match of the SAFF U-20 Women's Championship scheduled to be held tomorrow (Thursday).
