U-20 women's football team goes through recovery session

DHAKA, July 18, 2025 (BSS)- The Bangladesh U-20 Women's Football Team went through a full recovery session at the team hotel today (Friday).
 
The day's schedule included a gym session and a swimming pool recovery session at the hotel to keep the players stay fresh and ready for the next challenge. 

Team Manager Mahmuda Akter, through a audio message, said the recovery session included stretching and swimming and there is no injury problem in the team at the moment and the girls are fit the match against Sri Lanka.

She said the new comers have been given chance in each match and they are also giving their best in the championship. She also hoped that the girls would keep their same performance in the remaining two matches of the tournament.

Forward Nobaran Khatun, who captained for the first time in the last match against Bhutan, in replace of regular captain Afeida Khatun said it was great feeling to win the match as the role of captain for the first time.

She is also expressed her high hope to perform well in the remaining two matches of the tournament. 

Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in their return match schedule to be held tomorrow (Saturday).
