India bowl out West Indies for 162 in first Test

AHMEDABAD, India, Oct 2, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Pace bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah shared seven wickets between them as India bowled out the West Indies for 162 on day one of the first Test on Thursday.

West Indies won the toss at the start of the two-match series in Ahmedabad but lost regular wickets to survive just 44.1 overs of an innings that ended in the second session.
