Bangladesh start making 3 changes for Hong Kong away match

DHAKA, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS)- Three changes have been brought out in 
Bangladesh's starting eleven for the away match against Hong Kong, China in 
the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers.

Defender Topu Barman, midfielder Shamit Shome and American expatriate Zayyan 
Ahmed have been included in the playing 11 replacing Taj Uddin, Sohel Rana Jr 
and Faisal Ahmed Fahim who were featured in the home match.

Tapu Barman, who played in the second half due to injury in the home match, 
got his place back and also the captain's armband in replace of regular 
skipper Jamal Bhuyan who has been kept out from the playing eleven.
 
Bangladesh are looking forward to overturn their home match defeat as they 
take on Hong Kong, China, in the Asian Cup Qualifiers today at a Kai Tak 
Stadium in Hong Kong at 6 pm.

Bangladesh squad:

Shakil Topu, Topu Barman, Sheikh Morsalin, Hamza Choudhury, Rakib Hossain, 
Mitul Marma, Tariq Raihan, Sohel Rana, Zayyan Ahmed, Saad Uddin and Shamir
