Bangladesh face Chinese Taipei tomorrow

DHAKA, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh U-17 Women's Football Team face upper 
ranked Chinese Taipei in their second and ultimate vital group match of the 
2026 AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup qualification scheduled to be held at Aqaba 
Development Corporation Stadium in Jordan tomorrow (Friday).

The match kicks off at 10 pm Bangladesh time.

Bangladesh have one point from one match while Chinese Taipei bagged three 
points playing the same number of matches. Both the teams have one group 
match to play to decide the group champions.

Earlier, the girls in red and green, despite taking early lead, had to split 
point with the hosts playing 1-1 goal draw, conceding a goal in the last 
moment of the match.

But, Bangladesh still have chance to emerge group champions. In this case the 
girls must have to beat Chinese Taipei in their last group match.

Chinese Taipei earlier thrashed Jordan by 6-1 goals in their opening group 
match. 

Only the champions of the group will qualify for the final round of the Asian 
Cup
