DHAKA, Oct 22, 2025 (BSS)- Rashedur Rahman of Bangladesh Pratidin emerged champion in the chess event of Vista-Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Sports Festival held at chess federation hall room today (Wednesday).
Tapan Biswas of the Daily Janakantha became the second while Sayeed Shipon of Jagonews24.com finished third in the meet.

Organised by DRU with the overall cooperation of Vista, the DRU Sports Secretary Mojibur Rahman conducted the event.
DRU vice president Gazi Anwar and its general secretary Mainul Hasan Sohel were also present there.
