South Africa pile up 404 in reply to Pakistan's 333

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan, Oct 22, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - South Africa took a first-innings lead of 71 as their tail propelled them to 404 on the third day of the second Test in Rawalpindi on Wednesday in reply to Pakistan's 333 all out.

Senuran Muthusamy hit a career-best 89 not out and Kagiso Rabada struck 71.

Veteran spinner Asif Afridi took 6-79 on his Pakistan debut.
