DHAKA, Oct 22, 2025 (BSS)-Bangladesh T20 captain Liton Das has returned to
net today to prepare him for the upcoming three-match T20 International
series against West Indies.

Liton suffered a muscle strain during the Asia Cup in the United Arab
Emirates (UAE) last month, an injury which ruled him out in the crucial match
against India and Pakistan.

Bangladesh lost those two matches to be eliminated from the Asia Cup final
race.

However the injury eventually sidelined him from the subsequent T20 and ODI
series against Afghanistan, also held in UAE and three-match ODI series
against West Indies at home.

An official of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said Liton's recover is at the
final stage and his return will be a positive boost for the side.

The T20Is are scheduled to be held on October 27, 29, and 31 at the Bir
Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram.

Bangladesh are currently playing the ODI series against West Indies in Dhaka.
