DHAKA, Oct 23, 2025 (BSS)- Mazharul Islam Mithun of Independent TV emerged champion in the 50m swimming event of Vista-Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Sports Festival held at Brozen Dasa Swimming Pool today (Thursday).

Taeriqul Islam Masum of Channel I became the second while Md Jafar Iqbal of Daily Sangram finished third position in the meet.

Organised by DRU with the overall cooperation of Vista, the DRU Sports Secretary Mojibur Rahman conducted the event.
DRU vice president Gazi Anwar and its general secretary Mainul Hasan Sohel were also present there.
