DHAKA, April 15, 2026 (BSS)- Pace bowlers Nahid Rana and Shoriful Islam have joined Bangladesh's training camp today ahead of the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium after completing their Pakistan Super League (PSL) commitments.

The duo returned to the national setup following an extended stint in the PSL, where they represented Peshawar Zalmi.

Although both were initially scheduled to return on April 12, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) granted a one-day extension to their No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the request of the franchise, allowing them to feature in Peshwar's match against Multan Sultans on April 13.

The pair made notable contributions in Peshwar Zalmi's 24-run victory. Nahid continued his impressive form with figures of 2-24 from four overs, while Shoriful bowled a disciplined spell, conceding 27 runs in his quota without taking a wicket.

Peshwar Zalmi maintained their unbeaten run in the tournament, collecting 11 points from six matches to sit at the top of the table.

Nahid has been among the standout bowlers of the season, taking seven wickets in four matches at an economy rate of 5.42, consistently clocking speeds above 147 kph. Shoriful, meanwhile, claimed two wickets in five matches, operating at an economy rate of 7.93.
