DHAKA, May 13, 2026 (BSS) - The Independence Day age-group skating competition will be held Friday(May 15) at the National Skating Complex in the capital.

State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque is expected to attend the day-long event as the chief guest.
Among the special guests will be Maj (retd) Imroz Ahmed, vice president of the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA), BOA secretary general Jubaidur Rahman Rana and National Sports Council executive director (routine duty) Titon Khesa.

Organized by the Bangladesh Roller Skating Federation, the competition will feature 618 male and female athletes in 16 categories from 10 districts and 40 clubs and associations across the country.
