
DHAKA, May 19, 2026 (BSS) – The 14th Services Wrestling Competition, organized by the Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation, will begin tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Roller Skating Complex in the capital.
Jubaidur Rahman Rana, Secretary General of the Bangladesh Olympic Association, is expected to inaugurate the two-day competition as the chief guest.
A total of 200 athletes, including 10 boys’ teams and an equal number of girls’ teams from various service organizations across different weight categories, will take part in the event.
As part of the pre-competition formalities, physical and weight verification of the participating athletes was conducted today (Tuesday) at the federation office.
The two-day meet aims to promote wrestling among service teams and strengthen competitive sports development in the country.
